Kaz Terada

Kaz Terada is a Tokyo-based Venture Advisor at Monta Vista Capital, where he supports portfolio companies in expanding into the Japanese and broader Asian markets.

Kaz brings extensive experience in cross-border venture investment and business development. He established ITOCHU Corporation’s first U.S.-based venture capital fund and has supported the market entry and growth of more than 50 global technology companies in Japan.

Previously, Kaz served as Managing Director at ITOCHU Technology Ventures. He also held leadership roles as President of TiE Japan and as a Board Member of Macnica Fuji Electronics Holdings.

Kaz holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Waseda University.
